In June 2023, Vasquez visited the site alongside Bernalillo County Commission Chair Barbara Baca to discuss the potential impact it can have on the community.

On Thursday, March 28, U.S. Representative Gabe Vasquez’s (NM-02) office hosted the webinar Empowering Communities: A Webinar Guide to Successful Grants and Funding to help local organizations request and obtain critical funding. In the Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 appropriations process, Vasquez will continue work to prioritize funding for programs that directly impact New Mexicans.

Vasquez Presents Check to SVEDC

Today, March 28, 2024, U.S. Representative Gabe Vasquez (N.M.-02) delivered an $850,000 check to the South Valley Economic Development Center (SVEDC) for the construction of an agricultural economic development center to help address food insecurity and increase job growth in this sector as part of the $13.9 million in Community Project Funding (CPF) he secured for 15 projects across the district.
