Melanie Stansbury (NM-01) and Teresa Leger Fernández (NM-03), urged the Administration to work towards a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas conflict. Following his vote to provide foreign and humanitarian aid to U.S. allies, including Israel, the letter stressed the importance of ensuring that the provided funding remains strictly defensive in nature and is not diverted to support offensive actions in Gaza.
