  • Held the Forest Service accountable for wildfire management by advocating for updated action plans and increased safety measures.

  • Continues to increase funding for wildfire management and prevention efforts.

  • Secured funding for five electric school buses for Las Cruces Public Schools, reducing harmful emissions to keep students safe.
  • Supports climate solutions such as the Arctic Refuge Protection Act(link is external), designating over 1.5 million acres of land in Alaska for preservation.
  • Acquired $63M in federal funding for the development of electric truck charging stations, fostering emission reduction along the I-10 corridor and advancing the transition to electric vehicles.
