Washington, D.C. – This week, the House Agriculture Committee announced U.S. Representative Gabe Vasquez (NM-02) will serve on the Livestock, Dairy and Poultry and the Forestry Subcommittees, where he will bring his conservation and rural development experience and contribute to the 2023 Farm Bill to support the needs of all New Mexicans.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Senators Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) and Ben Ray Luján (D-N.M.) and U.S. Reps Teresa Leger Fernández (D-N.M.), Melanie Stansbury (D-N.M.), and Gabe Vasquez (D-N.M.) are welcoming a total of $485,000 in funding from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) to support public engagement strategies for 19 arts organizations across New Mexico.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Senators Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) and Ben Ray Luján (D-N.M.) and U.S. Representatives Teresa Leger Fernández (D-N.M.), Melanie Stansbury (D-N.M.), and Gabe Vasquez (D-N.M.) are welcoming a total of $74,773,262 in formula funding from the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Transit Administration (FTA) that will be made available to transit agencies and communities in New Mexico to support public transportation.

The latest assignments for New Mexico’s three Democratic House members come as Republicans have taken control of the federal legislative chamber with a slim 222 to 214 majority in the 118th Congress.
