On Thursday, March 28, U.S. Representative Gabe Vasquez’s (NM-02) office hosted the webinar Empowering Communities: A Webinar Guide to Successful Grants and Funding to help local organizations request and obtain critical funding. In the Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 appropriations process, Vasquez will continue work to prioritize funding for programs that directly impact New Mexicans.

Today, March 28, 2024, U.S. Representative Gabe Vasquez (N.M.-02) delivered an $850,000 check to the South Valley Economic Development Center (SVEDC) for the construction of an agricultural economic development center to help address food insecurity and increase job growth in this sector as part of the $13.9 million in Community Project Funding (CPF) he secured for 15 projects across the district. 

On Friday, March 22, U.S. Representative Gabe Vasquez (D-N.M.-02) voted in favor of the final funding bill for Fiscal Year 2024 (FY24) to deliver historic investments in the district, support critical public safety, education and national security efforts across the country and prevent extremists from partially shutting down the government.
