U.S. Representative Gabe Vasquez (N.M.-02) announced that Cheyenne Anderson, a talented young artist and leader from Albuquerque’s South Valley, has been recognized as one of the 2024 Girls Leading Change honorees by the White House. Nominated by Vasquez, Cheyenne is being celebrated for her outstanding work uplifting underrepresented communities through art and photography, particularly focusing on her Chicana, Mexica and Apache heritage.
