Indigenous peoples have shaped the history, culture and landscape of New Mexico for centuries. Rep. Vasquez is honored to work alongside the Tribes and Pueblos of New Mexico to uplift indigenous communities in the district.
The preservation of rights and freedoms is the cornerstone of our democracy. Rep. Vasquez passionately advocates for the protection of our fundamental freedoms. From defending voting rights to championing reproductive choice, equality and responsible gun ownership, he’s dedicated to ensuring our liberties endure.
Public safety is a top priority for Rep. Vasquez. Vasquez has hosted numerous roundtables with Sheriffs from across the district and regularly meets with other law enforcement and Customs and Border Protection officials. Together, Vasquez is pushing for proactive crime prevention efforts and increased funding for public safety measures to build a safer community for New Mexicans.
