Community Project Funding

As your representative, I’m fighting to bring much-needed federal dollars back to New Mexico through Community Project Funding (CPF). This process allows each member of Congress to invest directly in projects that strengthen our communities—whether it’s infrastructure, public safety, or economic development. I’m committed to making sure that local governments, nonprofits, and tribal partners have a fair shot at securing funding for initiatives that make a real difference. Transparency and accountability are key, and I’ll continue advocating for projects that reflect our values and priorities here in New Mexico.

CPF requests are limited to specific project types as determined by the House Appropriations Committee. Each project must meet the required eligibility criteria and/or matching requirements. This is a highly competitive process, as my office can only submit 15 requests for consideration. Ultimately, the House Appropriations Committee will decide which projects receive funding.

Over the last two years, I’ve been proud to work with communities throughout New Mexico to deliver $14.1 million in Community Project Funding to support 15 projects. You can find the list of CPF projects I secured funding for in FY24 here. The FY2026 process is now closed.
